When engaging in counseling with me, I provide a safe space to talk, where real change can happen. My goal is to empower you to develop helpful ways to navigate your emotions and thoughts. I use my knowledge of mental health to creatively help you reach your goals. I believe that the therapy process can help you achieve success in managing emotions and stressful situations.
My passion is helping others. I have been working in the mental health field for the past 12 years. I have experience working with many different people and bring my knowledge to help you transform. I offer a chance for everyone to experience a non-judgemental, safe place to work on themselves.
I understand that life can be challenging, and we will work side by side to help you make the most out of your life. I look forward to working together with you, in order to help you have the life you choose.
MY STORY
My Journey to Become a Counselor
Mental Health has been my interest since my first psychology class in College. I enjoyed helping people make the changes they want, in order to live life! I have 12 years of experience in multiple states working with many different clients and doing many different jobs in the mental health field. I have experience working as a Counselor in a Substance Abuse Treatment Program, Community Mental Health Case Manager and Counselor, Mental Health Worker at a Psychiatric Hospital, Counselor in a jail and juvenile detention center, and finally, as a Counselor in Private Practice.
Empowering Transformations, LLC was born out of a need for Telemental Health due to COVID-19. I believe that everyone will need support and help to manage the transformation that we are all facing with the Stay at Home Orders. I want to offer a place where everyone feels able and welcome to express emotions and I hope that Empowering Transformations, LLC is the place for you!
